Steam turbine, motor, generator combined technqiue can be used flexibly to drive fans, extractors, even pumps.
The system can be operated in various modes:
1) turbine-generator-fan mode;
2) turbine-fan mode;
3) motor-fan mode;
4) turbine-motor-fan mode;
The turbine and motor can be spare to each other as well, particularly in system maintainance.
Typical case is the extractor of 1000MW steam turbine power generation unit.
